What'd She Say?

It's been awhile since I posted. I'm hoping to change that. I'm not even sure if anyone reads this, but I'm going to pretend they do, lol!

I started making these really cute make up bags. They could also be used as a small clutch when you just need to take a few things with you. I have several different choices.

So, I was talking to my mother-in-law this morning, and she said I needed to update my blog.

I've been so busy with sewing and our cats having kittens (14 so far!!!). I really love sewing. I've been making purses, wallets, checkbook covers, etc. I've even started my first quilt. I've always loved funky stuff and I can never find anything in the fabrics that I like, so I decided to make my own.

Spring is finally here. I love when the weather turns nice. Sun, trees blooming, flowers and just nice all around.

Here is a picture of 2 of our cats and their babies. Another one had her babies last night and 1 more is still pregnant. It's totally crazy!

Wow! Thanksgiving sure can early this year! Only a month to go before Christmas. I can't believe it. Time flies the older you get!

I've had so much happen this month. One of our cats is seriously ill right now. I'm hoping he'll pull through. He had a blocked urinary tract, which I'm hearing is pretty common for cats. He's still having a lot of trouble and hopefully, he won't have to go back to the hospital. He's lost some weight and not eating. But, I have faith that he'll get better.

I've been working my butt off making some really cute Christmas ornaments. They are going fast, so there aren't many left. I also have a couple paintings that are available.

I hope you all have a great Thanksgiving and get to spend it with your family and friends.

Well, my mom and I are off on a road trip tomorrow morning. I'm excited for a couple of reasons:

1. I live in the boonies and to go somewhere where there is good shopping (i.e. not Wal-Mart) I have to travel about 1 1/2 hours away.
2. I love when I can get away with just my mom.
3. I'm hoping to get some new ideas and inspiration.

We've actually planned our trip around restaurants! I want Benihana's and she wants Carabba's. So, we are planning on going to Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Tennessee and back up to Kentucky. About 4 or 5 days of shopping.

Needless to say, I won't be near email or my website until I get back home. I will answer all emails and stuff when I return.

So, wish me luck on finding some great deals!

Who doesn't need a tampon case for your purse? I hate when you go to use one, and there it is... on the bottom.... all old... dirty... unwrapped... You get the idea.
